Since when is gambling efficient?

First off I'm a Spitelord, so my answer is valid. Second many people are rich from gambling. Third you can double your money in less then a minute that seems pretty fucking efficient.

Never said your answer wasn't valid(flay him was directed at Noodles and completely unrelated to my other comment).
I just find that one is much more likely to loose money gambling than make it, that seems inefficient. Many people are rich from gambling but many, many more are poor and maimed because of it. Casino gambling is out unless I have Dustin Hoffman with me or I learn the art of prognostication. Gambling with individuals would be far more efficient but requires skill(which isn

You don't need skill unless you're playing cards. There are plenty of other games of chance to which the only requirement is luck. Anyone who tells you it takes skill to guess which chamber holds the bullet is yanking your chain.

You can make money setting up poker tournaments or running a casino out of your basement. That would be another way of making money from gambling.

That sounds like something worth trying. Merci.

Question: What does -- TPRCitBBH -- signify?

It's explained in another post. My sig was too long, so I abbreviated it. Look around.

I have a question.

I like to clean. Yes, I actually like to clean, I love the smell of lemon disinfectants, and I love to see my furniture sparkle under the light.

I even like going at the windows with a bottle of windex and a pair of latex gloves.

But my psychologist thinks I have OCD.

I don't think I have OCD, because with OCD you don't enjoy the rituals, you do them for relief, or something. I just have a passion for sanitizing my house.

But am I wrong? I'm not a psychologist, is that OCD? Or can I proudly claim to be somewhat mentally healthy?

I'm not a spitelord, but I'm gonna chime in.

Does it absolutely bug the living fuck out of you if you don't clean? You can enjoy doing it, but if you can't stand not doing it, then maybe. Maybe. I'm not a psychologist either. Well, at least not that kind. :)

Oh. Well, yeah it does 'bug the living fuck' out of me I suppose...
Well but if you aren't an actual psychologist with a degree and everything it could go either way I suppose.

Maybe... maybe not.
Thank you.

edit- wow I said 'I suppose' twice... how pathetic.

I've been diagnosed with OCD, and I'll have a degree in a year. That count?

EDIT:
It's not like OCD makes you "insane" or whatever anyway. Some cases are a lot worse than others, and as long as you're not hurting yourself or anyone around you, I wouldn't worry about it. A psychologist can tell you anything about your personality, but that doesn't make it necessarily good or bad.

Yes. Meh oh well, I always thought that having 'mental quirks' makes us individuals right? Heh heh, right?

At least my germophobia is getting better...

Edit-that's a very good point you have, and I honestly see no harm in cleaning my house. I mean, at least it is something I enjoy, so what makes it any different then playing a new video game for hours and then wanting to play it more while you have to go to work, right?

You'll make a good psychologist I think. (heh, I'm not just sucking up, honest)

Thanks, but I don't want to be a clinical one, for many, many reasons.

Reasons? You mean, like fear of all the disturbed people you'd have to treat reasons?

I could understand that. My neighbors Amy and JC are both a little... unwell. They frighten me with their fan-girl like behavior. Very irritating.
They like to tackle me when I leave my apartment and hug me. That's very scary.
-shudder-
Well anyway, good luck, thanks for the advice.

Well at least you're doing something productive, instead of, say, licking toads obsessively.

Haha yeah that's a good point as well.

Bleah stoners make me angry.
So do toads for that matter.

Now if only I was a workaholic, I'd be set, instead of sitting here at my computer goofing off.
