Post I want my two hours back
Five has already covered movies we haven't seen, but want to. I'm here to talk about movies we have seen, and wish we hadn't. I've got two crap-fests I wish I'd been quicker to avoid. 'Nanny Mc.Phee' and 'Lord of War', that one with Nicholas Cage. If anything is gained from this page, may it be the saving of the innocent from movies that suck.

Well, I'm doing Film Studies at college so I have a fair few thousand we've been subjected to. I'll give you one for now and ration my responses, really long posts look untidy.
*ahem*

A Brief Encounter, now don't get me wrong, it's a fabulous example of the "Don't Panic and Carry On" attitude of Britain at War, but jeeeeeeezus, she's the most stoic drama queen I've ever come across. And I've come across a lot of drama queens. It's over acted and under-emotional. Unless you want a laugh I'd avoid it. It's completely predictable and a tad bit disappointing when she pussys out and doesn't chuck herself under a train.

King Kong. I shouldn't have expected much from a newer version of meaningless death. I did find it funny, but that's neither here nor there. Not much comes from screaming dames and monster flicks, and I know better nowadays. All in all, interspecies friendships are not entertaining in the slightest. Not without pointless violence anyhow.

I wouldn't watch it again. And I don't recommend it. That is all.

Thank you for sharing your bad movie experience, may it never happen to you again.

On a quick and unrelated note, does anyone else think Nacho is hot?

Nacho is hot.

On topic though, I really wish I hadn't wasted the half an hour I spent watching Get Carter. It's the only movie I've ever walked out on. Too stupid for words. I should have known when I found out Stallone was going to be in it.

Any movie with Stallone is bound to be crap, I'm sorry you didn't dodge that bullet.

Skeleton Key. I knew nothing about it before it began, but hoped it was an adaptation of Andi Watson's comic of the same name. Never have I been so wrong, or so sorry.

ITM is known for attracting disturbingly hot people. It's a blessing and a (very distracting) curse. Hook us up if you got the elusive looker-gene; the internet is running out of porn.

I highly doubt that, and I don't send pics over the net anymore. Although I've been told I am a looker, I don't believe it. I've got cupid bow lips and almond eyes they say. It's a load of crap if you ask me, but there I go doubting myself again.
Now if you don't mind, kindly tell us about a bad movie you've seen.

Oh, and I'm sorry about your bad movie experience CDAAAH, but I'm glad you shared, I was about to rent it.

Signs.

M. Night Shyamalan needs his asshole cauterized with a flaming sword, then have an angry gorilla force-feed him prescription-strength laxatives until his pores start seeping a viscous amalgamation of blood and feces. Just as he's about to burst, the gorilla drops him off a tall building onto Mel Gibson, like some kind of putrid, infectious water balloon of human waste. There will be corn nibblets and chunks of bad director everywhere. If Mel Gibson survives, I'll be there to smile down at him, casually puff a cigar, and put it out on his forehead.

I hear The Village wasn't much better.

I TRIED to watch The Village. I really did. Two hours pass and like, a couple of animals died. I gave up.

Then I tried to watch Anchorman. Another mistake.

And Nacho IS hot! He's pretty, but in a very manly way. :3

Two movies I wish I never saw and got money back for where Mr. and Mrs Smith movie was horrible. Doom was another crap tastic movie also and sadly I saw it twice b/c of friends. Lastly Saw 2 was nothing like the 1st one, just more gore and less story and mind tricks.

I was pretty pissed off at Signs too. After that disappointment I didn't even try to see The Village. Also Charlie's Angels 2 was a big disappointment. I knew it was going to be bad before hand though, and it only cost $1 to go see on campus and I was bored. It all worked out because I get to mock my friend who pretends that he enjoyed it.
