It was about two years ago, before it got reset, so no. A re you, for some reason, angry that I claim to have once been a regular? Quote: If I weren't going to be an actor, I'd be an evolutionary theorist. Well, gosh now, Judy, I'm glad you're making the right choice, there.
I'm glad you think so. My aspirations are based entirely on my desire for your approval, doncha know. I think it's wonderful that you're bitter enough to comfortably mock my youthful enthusiasm and naivet

In case you hadn't noticed, people who act like uppity cunts in their intros usually aren't welcomed with open arms. But gosh, you read books and listen to slightly obscure (but sufficiently hip) music, so I just can't help but accept you!

1. Not at all. I wanted you to prove it, and you did.
2. I have found, during my years in colleges, that performing arts students are among the most inane and vapid I have ever come across. Maybe I'm wrong. In fact, I hope I am, but I doubt it.
3. My reaction was directly related to how snotty you sounded. Unsolicited lists of books always scream "Oooh, look how smart I am!" to me.
4. Still, despite all the above, and despite the fact that you hate me, your reply has endeared you to me a little. I suspect this means nothing to you, and really, if I thought it did, I'd probably not give it.
I still hate macs, though.

Points taken; I tend to get a little overzealous with the sarcasm and defensiveness. Apologies all around, and thanks where they're appropriate.
I know performing arts people tend to be vapid. I try to compensate by proving I'm smart (book listing) but then I just come off as a twat. Ah well. If I wasn't insecure and a bit flighty, I wouldn't be an actor.
Lovelove!
And sorry I'm young. If I'd had any say in when my mom got pregnant...

I dislike book lists being prefixed with "You should read", because the statement makes far too many suppositions.

I figure if someone's on the board, they can read. So literacy is a safe assumption. But yes. I get it.

That one would indeed be safe, but it is not one of the ones I take issue with. I understand you grasp the issue, though.

Aridarr:
A terminal obsession is not one that I would be bragging about.
Also, being an Aspie will not cover your ass for anything, somebody tried to use that one a while back and it was concluded that very few of the symptoms would present themselves as problems on an online forum. Using it as an excuse for anything will get you flamed.

Holly: I remember you from IRC! I will add that we didn't care for your syndrome or indeed your parrots then, and are unlikely to be wild about them now. But hey, it's your introduction.
Anyway, get good at trivia.
Nb: This looks like a threat. It's not. It makes sense if you were there that night.

It may not be a threat, Munky, but it amuses me to imagine it is.

Don't worry, I wasn't planning on using it as an excuse for anything, or doing anything that would call for an excuse. I'm not that stupid. Honestly, I'm not. Although anyone who saw me in IRC a few months ago may argue otherwise.
