THE RULES - READ BEFORE POSTING

First off, if you're not 18 or older, you should not be here.

The Rules, as borrowed from five's original post:

1. Before you enter, learn to embrace the concepts of spelling and grammar. We have heard every single possible excuse there is as to why you don't want to check your spelling or bother with grammar or push the shift key to enable capital letters. I promise. There's nothing you can come up with that will convince us not to be so anal. Deal with it. You want to play here, you're going to do it intelligently. Or, at the very least, legibly. No one is asking you to be perfect, we just want you to put forth a little effort to help preserve the language.

1.1 Caps, colors, sizes. This really falls under the above but some people are dense so they get a special mention. Posts done in all caps, funky colors or obnoxious type sizes will be deleted. Period. These features are meant to be used for impact, sparingly. SPARINGLY. Get it? Good. Moderation is the key.

1.2 Ellipses. Three dots. Learn it, love it.

2. New topics. Everyone is welcome to make a new topic but before you do, please consider a few things. Is your topic in the right section of the board? They are clearly labeled for a reason. Is your topic something that may be covered in the FAQ? Go look. Is your topic something that has been covered 1000x to death? It's not a bad idea to do a quick search through the old posts (which aren't many just yet, so while you are probably still being redundant, you can claim ignorance). Think before you post. Some of us have been here upwards of 10 years. Keep that in mind.

3. Be yourself. Don't try to squeeze into some preconceived notion of who you think you want to be or who you think we want you to be. Don't try to be extra crazy or goth or Jhonen obsessed. You have no idea how typical that makes you seem. Really, just be yourself. We may still hate you, but at least it was honest.

4. Don't ask for an opinion you don't want. We are not here to suck your proverbial cock. If you ask for feedback, don't be upset when you get it. Chances are you're not half the talent you think you are. Get ready, it's going to be a hard life.

We will not like you. We're not here to like you. No matter what you've read on any other page here or elsewhere, you're not welcome, and you're not invited. We do not want to hear what you have to say. Enter at your own risk.
